Payback, Concrete Style

The sister-in-law and her husband were our best helpers when we moved, and what comes around goes around (at least I try to make it that way), so I tooled over to their place in the country on my motorcycle and helped lay and stamp the concrete patio they were putting on. It's a beauty, much unlike the crew that put it up. We were an ugly sight, but after a shower things are better, and they've got a dandy place to roast marshmallows.

You know, I have been known to face injuries to avoid doing concrete. I think that you willingly assisted, even as payback for the help you were given, shows a level of character I obviously do not own. Of course, my back won't be hurting for days, as your might...

No additional pains, P. I've been doing my "early burn" exercises, which help keep the back strong for random concrete projects.

Wonderful post but I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on this topic?

I'd be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit more.
Thank you!
