Portrait of the Bard?
This photo, from the Washington Post, shows a controversial portrait of William Shakespeare, which some think is the only portrait of him done during his lifetime. I like the wry smile and the knowing, engaged look in his eyes. That should be him!

If you look at a portrait of Sir Thomas Overbury like the one on BBC News http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/06/entertainment_searching_for_shakespeare/html/4.stm , it is easy to see why there is such a dispute. It doesn't look like a controversy that will be resolved. But it is fun to ponder.
Cool images there. Maybe I'll paint one, too.
